About us

MISSION
To unite the interests of the association’s members in order to achieve more efficient operations through communication with regulators, the media and the general public. To carry out activities to promote the asset management business and to achieve better financial literacy in Slovenia.

VISION
To become the largest and most visible association of asset managers in Slovenia. To create, concentrate and disseminate knowledge in the field of financial asset management to professionals and the general public.

VALUES
Professionalism, responsiveness, ethics and social responsibility, trust and networking.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
To formulate positions and proposals in areas relating to the operation of investment funds and management companies and to forward them to the competent authorities; to liaise with a view of clarifying and interpreting the regulations, which define the terms and conditions of the members’ business; to participate in expert groups, which draft legal and regulatory acts in the field of investment fund management; to represent and protect interests of members in a unified manner, particularly in relations with government authorities; to exchange views and inform each other between ZDU and the members; and to promote investor confidence in investment funds as a form of savings.
